Dr. Michael B. Fischer received a B.S. in Pre-Medicine along with a minor in Japanese language from The Pennsylvania State University. He attended Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine where he completed his internship and Family Practice residency, along with being named Chief Intern and Chief Resident.
Dr. Fischer is Board Certified in Family Practice and he's also a member of the American Osteopathic Association, American Medical Association, and the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians and Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association.
After completing his residency, he served with the United States Air Force, where he was awarded the Commendation and Meritorious service medals.
In addition, Dr. Fischer is a Fellow, American Academy of Disability Evaluating Physicians. Dr. Fischer is a Clinical Assistant Professor in The Department of Family Medicine at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
